We (BizDat Networks, Inc.) provide you (PowerGroups members) with tools that allow you to share information with your friends, family, colleagues and others. This document and the documents it refers to explain the terms that govern your use of our service. We may change our terms in the future, and if so, this page will be amended to reflect those changes. You should always refer to this page for the current and complete agreement.

Here is a summary of some key points:

We'll try to protect your privacy, but we can't guarantee it.

Be considerate and respectful of others; we can remove you from the service at any time, and if you abuse it, we will.

We're not responsible for our members' content.

By posting content to our groups you grant us the right to distribute it to the members of those groups.

We're not liable for any lost data or damages that may result from using our service.

Who Can Use Our Service
You must be at least 18 years old or have your parents' consent to use our service. When you complete your registration you're stating that you are eligible to use our service and will comply with this agreement.

Registration and Security
You must submit a registration form with complete and accurate information before using our service. If you submit false information, we have the right to terminate your membership.

You must select a unique user name and a password when you register. Together they identify you on our service. You must keep your password confidential or your data's privacy and integrity will be at risk, since anyone who logs in with your user name and password will be able to view, edit, and delete your data. This also applies to your administration password if you are the administrator of a group.

You must notify us immediately if anyone uses your password or account without your permission.

Your Privacy
We will respect and defend your privacy as described in our Privacy Policy.

We will, however, access or disclose your information under certain circumstances:

If a situation arises in which the law requires it

If we can't operate our systems properly without doing so

To protect ourselves, our members, or others

You must also keep in mind that private communications cannot be guaranteed on the Internet. While we take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access to your data, we have no control over what happens to it in transit from our servers to your browser. We recommend that you weigh the risks before storing any highly sensitive data on our system.

Your Conduct and Content
You agree to obey all applicable laws, and that you are responsible for any actions taken under your user name and password.

The content on our service is owned and created by our members. We don't attempt to maintain editorial control over it. Nevertheless, we reserve the right to remove any objectionable material that is brought to our attention and to terminate your membership if we feel you've violated our Terms of Service.

Some examples of unacceptable behavior are:

Using the service to break the law, or to encourage others to break the law

Posting material that is harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable

Transmitting any harmful or malicious program

Violating the rights of third parties (copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc.)

Allowing minors to join a group that features pornographic material or posting such material to a list that might include minors

Interfering with or disrupting our service or our members' access to the service

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our service or to our members' accounts

Using the service to send any sort of unsolicited e-mail (ads, chain letters, etc.)

Collecting e-mail addresses or other information about our members without their consent

Reselling the use of our service or or access to it

You get the picture. Play nicely or you'll have to leave the sandbox.

Indemnification
You're responsible for any claims made by others that arise from your use of our service. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense against such claims, but that doesn't remove your obligation.

Your Proprietary Rights
You grant us the right to distribute the content that you publish to your groups to the members of those groups. You also grant us the right to allow those members to download and print the content for their personal use.

Our Proprietary Rights
All the content found on our service is protected by our copyrights and trademarks. We reserve the right to insert our, and our sponsors', images and text into all content on our service. You can reformat and print our content for your personal, noncommercial use only. You may not modify or distribute content from our service in any way.

Links To Other Sites
Our service includes links to other sites; some chosen by us and some by our members. These are provided for your convenience, and we aren't responsible for the availability or content of those sites. Use them at your own risk. If you have a problem with an external site, please direct your comments to the administrator of the offending site, not to us.

Disclaimer Of Warranties
Our content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranty whatsoever. No information or advice that we may offer you will change that, or create a warranty.

We have no control over our members' content or our sponsors' services, and are not responsible for their accuracy, reliability, or utility.

You use our service at your own risk.

Limitation Of Liability
We aren't liable for any sort of damages resulting from the use, or the inability to use, our service, even if we've been told that such damages might occur. We aren't liable for the loss of any data that we delete, or that is lost because of service outages, file corruption, or any other reason. If you're dissatisfied with our service in any way, your only remedy is to stop using it.

Terminating Your Membership
We have the right to terminate your membership and delete all your data and any groups you've created. We may do so at any time, for any reason. We may also permanently bar you from using our service in the future.

If we terminate your membership, we don't need to notify you in advance, we don't have to tell you why, and we don't need your consent.

Modifications To The Service Or To This Agreement
We may change the Terms of Service at any time without notice. We may also modify or discontinue the service without notifying you, and won't be liable to you or any third party for such action.

Miscellaneous
Our rights remain in effect regardless of whether or not we exercise them. If a court with proper jurisdiction finds that any part of this agreement is invalid, all the other provisions will remain in effect.
