On a corporate
intranet, the Administrator controls who sees what, where, when
and how. PowerGroups provides the features of a corporate
intranet, but without the complexity.
When you create
a new Group, you automatically become the Group Administrator.
Since your Group is secure, you're asked for your Administrator
Key before gaining access to your Group Administration features,
options you can customize to help make your Group work the way
you need it to work.
Editing these
features is optional. Your Group will function just fine using
the pre-set defaults.
Administration
features let you:
- Edit Group
Privileges to control who sees what, where, when and how within
your Group

- Edit Member
Privileges to control what a single Group Member may view
or share with the Group

- Invite people
to join your Group

- Manage Group
invitations

- Upload a graphic
to use on your Group Home page

- Edit or update
your Group information

- Review and
edit documents submitted to your Group

- Conduct and
monitor Group polls
It's important
to remember that you don't have to modify Administration features
in order to have your Group function.
The controls are there when, and if you need them.
